MWGS 2020 has ended
The Fall 2020 Midwest Google Summit will be held virtually on November 8, 9, and 10. We are offering live sessions on Sunday afternoon, Monday evening, or Tuesday evening. We recognize this is a different year and educators are working harder than ever. With that in mind, our goal is to provide an opportunity for teachers, instructional coaches and administrators to learn a little something new, ask questions, and know we are here to help. All of the sessions are al-a-carte and you can choose to attend up to 8 different sessions or even the single session that meets your needs. The first 300 people to register for the event will receive the option to attend a bonus session offered and taught by a member of the Google Team at no additional cost. Each session is $35 or you can sign up for 7 sessions for $175. What makes the MWGS such a wonderful event is the people we have there and we are hoping to be back in-person in 2021!

All session resources will be shared with registered participants!

10 bullets, font that is barely legible from 2 feet away, blurry photos with watermarks, 3 pages of a dissertation worth of text, and animations that make you motion sick. Does this remind you of anything? If so, I am here to help. During this hands-on breakout session, we will explore features within Google Slides that will improve your presentation skills for both personal and classroom use. Approaching presentations from the area of design and content management, I will share with you best practices that are worthy of the TEDx stage. In addition, we will experiment with Google Slide Add-ons, Extensions, and support resources to level up your Slide Decks. As quoted on a bumper sticker at a local 7-Eleven, “the presentation is just important as the content.”
